EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE
Our objective is to provide students with diversified, integrated theory and practical programs from cosmetology, nail specialty, facial specialty. This does not prepare cosmetology students to do a sit down for a state exam. Nor involve students receiving a license from the State of Florida and does not prepare specialty students to sit for a school exam licensing exam for specialty license. This is to apply for a specialty continued education course to add to the Arde, licensed or enrolled in school for there added education after for customer satisfaction.
Online students are provided theory and mentoring.
This does not prepare student to sit for the MBLEX exam approved for a Florida license.
COMPLETING A PROGRAM OR COURSE IN A LANGUAGE OTHER THAN ENGLISH MAY REDUCE EMPLOYABILITY WHERE ENGLISH

ADMISSIONS
Students may enroll in all classes by providing a copy of high school diploma, GED, ID, Current nail or facial specialty license, show the ability to benefit by successfully filling and agreeing to this agreement form. Nail Specialty, and Facial Specialty students may be 16 years of age (with parental consent). With parental consent, secondary students who are not enrolled under a training agreement may be admitted, if the applicant meets the state requirements for admission, obtains permission in writing from the secondary school in which they are enrolled and successfully can take course.
If a student provides foreign high school diploma/transcripts, it must be verified by an outside agency that is qualified to translate documents into English and can confirm the academic equivalence to a U.S. high school diploma.
Training students must be 18 years of age. The school cannot guarantee a license or ability to take a test if the student has a criminal background.
ELIGIBLE CAREER PATHWAY PROGRAM
Under Pub. L. 113-235, students who are enrolled in an eligible career pathway program, as defined in section 484(d)(2) of the HEA, on or after July 1, 2014, and who are not high school graduates, or do not meet one of the other eligibility conditions, may be eligible to receive Title IV aid if the student meets one of the following ATB alternatives as defined in section 484(d)(1):
Passes an independently administered Department of Education approved ATB test.
Under section 484(d (2) of the HEA, an eligible career pathway program means a program that combines rigorous and high-quality education. training, and other services that-
Aligns with the skill needs of industries in the economy of the State or regional economy involved;
Prepares an individual to be successful in any of a full range of secondary or postsecondary education optons, including apprenticeships registered under the Act of August 16, 1937
(commonly known as the 'National Apprenticeship Act; 50
Stat.664, chapter 663; 29 U.S.C. 50 et seq.);
Includes counseling to support an individual in achieving the individual's education and career goals; Includes, as appropriate, education offered concurrently with and in the same context as workforce preparation activities and training for a specific occupation or occupational cluster, Organizes education, training, and other services to meet the particular needs of an individual in a manner that accelerates the educational and career advancement or ine individliario the extent practicable;Enables an individual to attain a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent, and at least one recognized postsecondarv credential: and

POLICY FOR DISTANCE EDUCATION
Advances in technology, as they relate to this policy, allow for the development of technologically innovative methods of instruction. The terms "Distance Education" or "Distance Learning" as used herein refer to instruction where the teacher and the student are separated geographically so that face-to-face communication is absent for up to 100% of the program; communication is accomplished instead by one or more technological media. This communication consists of loom extension with recorded visual presentations and material using a learning management system, direct signal or cable, transmission by telephone line, fiber optic line, digital and/or analog video tape, audio tape, computer or internet technology, email or other electronic means, now known or hereafter developed.
Distance Education will not be utilized as a method of delivery of clinical instruction in which the student is to perform practical applications on a live model and/or client as required by file upload in lessons.
The interaction with the instructor will be validated by regular measurable participation (clock hour, or competency based) in the academic programs. Participation will be documented within a log of all student activity comprising (at a minimum) a record of regular and substantive interaction between students) and instructor(s). The institution will evaluate the student's qualitative academic performance for each 10% of the Distance Education (modules) component actually completed within the program at the institution (in-person) by a qualified instructor Jessica miller.
Upon completion of all curriculum requirements, the student must pass a comprehensive Academic and Practical final exam at the end of the course to include any applicable competencies required.
The institution makes no guarantee that academic achievement earned via distance education will be accepted if transferred to another institution or for reciprocity or eligible for licensure in other states. The student will be given login credentials to access the distance education component.
The student agrees the log in credentials are to be kept private and must not be shared.

Night access is not available for mentoring as the mentoring is only day time Noon-5pm if instructor is not servicing clients

To give skin treatments using live skin models the enrolle provides, analysis with basic applications using correct products to enhance and follow with the machine application to safely apply procedures for hair removal and procedures for eyelash application or eyebrow and make up or nails.

It is an option available to allow you to a take an academic risk or pursue new subject matter. remedial classes are supposed to improve you, specifically in school subjects that you haven't done well in. Lately, the term is most often used to describe courses given to students who are not prepared for regular work. Remedial education (RE) is basic catch-up education For those in beauty school that need a catch up, hence the basics of anatomy, chemistry or other basics course.

Warning, Probation, absences

ABSENCES
All absences must be reported to the instructor prior to the start of the students scheduled class. Absences are not excused for any reason.
Each program has been scheduled for completion within an allotted time frame. A grace period of approximately 10% has been added to the calculated completion date for each program. It is not realistic to expect to receive an education for free. The school has reserved space, equipment, and licensed instructors for each student and program. If a student does not graduate within the
Time they cannot hold beauty manors liable and you will not be refunded.
SCHOOL HOURS
School hours are: are a fully accessed. Course win website is not updating or having technical difficulties. Mentoring is not fully accessed as the instructor does still take a clientele to stay updated. This means certain access to instructor is not available but to course should be if no technical difficulties are going on the website.
WARNING
Students who fail to meet minimum requirements for attendance of academic progress are placed on warning and considered to be making satisfactory academic progress while during the warning period. The student will be advised in writing on the actions required to attain satisfactory academic progress by the next evaluation. If at the end of the warning period, the student has still not met both the attendance and academic requirements, he/she may be placed on probation and, if applicable, students may be deemed ineligible to receive a refund and will be dismissed from course.
PROBATION
Students who fail to meet minimum requirements for attendance or academic progress after the warning period will be placed on probation and considered to be making satisfactory academic progress while during the probationary period, if the student appeals the decision, and prevails upon appeal. Additionally, only students who have the ability to meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy standards by the end of
the evaluation period may be placed on probation. Students placed on an academic plan must be able to meet requirements

INTERRUPTIONS, COURSE INCOMPLETES, WITHDRAWALS
If enrollment is temporarily interrupted for a Leave of Absence, the student will return to school in the same progress status as prior to the leave of absence. Hours elapsed during a leave of absence will extend the student's contract period and maximum time frame by the same number of days taken in the leave of absence and will not be included in the student's cumulative attendance percentage calculation. Students who withdraw prior to completion of the course and wish to re-enroll will return in the same satisfactory academic progress status as at the time

REPETITIONS
Students must make up failed or missed tests and incomplete assignments before the end of the course. If the a student does not make up failed or missed tests and incomplete assignments before the end of the course the student will be required to repeat the course and will be required to pay for the additional tuition based on the hourly program rate listed in the Program Fees section of the catalog, or any part thereof, payable in advance or make satisfactory arrangements for payment with Beauty Manors.
Students may request to retake a passed course however the student will be required to pay for the additional tuition based on the hourly program rate listed in the Program Fees section of the catalog, or any part thereof, payable in advance or make satisfactory arrangements for payment with Beauty Manors.

LEAVE OF ABSENCE POLICY
Leaves of Absence are temporary interruptions of training at the request of the student for personal reasons. The written request must be made in advance, including the reason for the request, the student's signature, and must be approved by the Administration, and an addendum to the enrollment agreement must be signed by Jessica Miller. The student is required to follow the institution's policy in requesting a leave of
A leave of absence request must be a minimum of 14 calendar days
and a maximum of 180 davs. The leave of absence together with ani additional leaves of absence must not exceed a total of 180 days in any
3-month period.
Approved leaves of absence will not result in any additional institutional charges to the student. The student's contract period and maximum time frame will be extended by the same number of calendar days taken in the leave of absence and an addendum to the enrollment agreement must be signed by all parties. Students granted a leave of absence are not considered withdrawn and no refund calculation will be required at that time. Veterans must be terminated for VA pay purposes.
The institution may grant a leave of absence to a student who did not provide the request prior to the leave of absence due to unforeseen circumstances, if the institution documents the reason for its decision and collects the request at a later date, such as a car accident. In this case, the beginning date of the approved leave of absence would be the first date the student was unable to attend the institution because of the accident
If a student does not return to the institution at the expiration of a leave of absence (or a student takes an unapproved leave of absence), the
student will be withdrawn.
The student's withdrawal date for the
purpose of calculating a refund will be the student's last day of guenognce.

The total hours necessary for remediation are determined on an individual basis. Assignments given to the student in need may be completed as homework at school during the student's free time. This course is fully online you will be required to complete the theory in the 30 days for gel nails and 45 days for eyebrow extensions. The mentoring may or may not be tailored to your schedule. Please be sure to have the 30 days for gel nails or 45 for eyebrow extensions before enrolling in this course.. the mentoring hours will not be extended, unless a $500 fee is paid.

Florida weather such as tropical storms and hurricanes will make arrangements for refunds or extensions to time graduation certificates.

INSTITUTIONAL REFUND POLICY
For applicants who cancel enrollment or students who withdraw from enrollment a fair and equitable settlement will apply or 80% or 95%. The following policy will apply to all terminations for any reason, by either party, including student decision. course or online program cancellation. or school closure.
Any monies due the applicant or students shall be refunded 80% or 95% within 30 days of official cancellation or withdrawal. Official cancellation or
withdrawal shall occur on the earlier of the dates that:
An applicant is not accepted by the school. The applicant shall
be entitled to a refund of 80% or 95% of monies paid.
A student (or in the case of a student under legal age, his/her
parent, or guardian) cancels his/her enrollment in writing within three business days of signing the enrollment
agreement. In this case, 80% or 95% monies collected by the school shall be refunded, regardless of whether or not the student
has actually started classes.
A student cancels his/her enrollment after three business days of signing the contract, but prior to starting classes. In these
cases, he/she shall be entitled to a refund of 80% or 95% monies paid to the school less the registration fee in the amount of 5% or 20%. A student notties the institution of his her withdrawal in writing.
A student on an approved leave of absence notifies the school that he/she will not be returning. The date of withdrawal shall be the earlier of the date of expiration of the leave of absence or the date the student notifies the institution that the student
will not be returning.
A student is expelled by the school. (Unofficial withdrawals will be determined by the institution by monitoring attendance at least every 30 days.)
In type 2, 3, 4 or 5, official cancellations or withdrawals, the cancellation date will be determined by the postmark on the written notification, or the date said notification is delivered to the school administrator or owner in person.
For students who enroll and begin classes but withdraw prior to course completion (after three business days of signing the contract), the following schedule of tuition earned by the school applies. All refunds
are based on schealed hours
All refunds will be calculated based on the students last date of
attendance. Any monies due a student who withdraws shall be not be refunded of a determination that a student has withdrawn, whether
officially or unofficially. In the case of disabling illiness or injury, death in the student's immediate family or other documented mitigating
circumstances, a reasonable and fair refund settlement will be made. If permanently closed or no longer offering instruction after a student has enrolled, the school will provide a 80% or 95% refund of tuiton to the student
OR provide course completion through a pre-arranged teach out
agreement with another institution. If the course is canceled subsequent
to a student's enroliment, the school will either provide a 95%or 80% refund of all monies paid or completion of the course at a later time. If the course is
canceled after students have enrolled and instruction has begun, the school shall provide, the school shall provide a 80% or 95% refund for all
students transfer school based on me nours acceplea or the receiving school OR provide completion of the course OR participate
in a Teach-Out Agreement OR provide a full refund of all monies paid.
Students who withdraw or terminate prior to course completion are charged a cancellation or administrative fee of $150.00. This refund
policy applies to tuition and fees charged in the enrollment agreement.
Other miscellaneous charges the student may have incurred at the institution (EG: extra kit materials, books, products, unreturned school
property, etc.) will be calculated separately at the time of withdrawal. All fees are identified in the catalog and in this enrolliment agreement.

CONTRACT COSTS AND PAYMENT TERMS
Student and Sponsor (if applicable) agree to pay the school the tuition and fees for the program selected according to the approved amount. The school may, at its option and without notice, prevent students from attending class until any applicable unpaid balance or payments are satisfied. School will charge additional tuition for hours remaining after the contract ending date.
school will charge a $10.00 transcript fee for transcript requests and $100 for a transcript evaluation from another school. The school will charge a re entry fee to students who
nave withdrawn and wish to re enter more than 30 davs after termination, of $500. The tuition rates current at the time of reentry will apply to the balance of training hours needed for students who re-enroll more than 30 days after the formal withdrawal date unless mitigating
circumstances soon.
Methods of payment include full payment at time of signing the Enrollment Agreement, paid at time of signing agreement with balance paid prior to start date or through an approved payment plan as stated herein. Payments may be made by,paypal, stripe, credit card.Students are responsible for paying the total tuition and fees and for repaying applicable loans they may have took out with there credit card company or bank.
Beauty Manors does not offer financing.

Students must comply with all Standards of Conduct, General Policies,
State Laws and Regulations, and beauty manors salon or educational requirements.
Students must adhere to the Attendance Policy. Students must log-on into beauty manors and out.
Online students report absences by 9:00 AM; or report absences by 4PM Personal or child illness
(documented by a physician) and court appearances are the only excused absences.
Student parking for in person training is assigned.
Student must provide a notebook, pen, and required supplies.
Students must have their own supplies to perform services.
A student who do not log-on and do not make an progress after the 60-90 limit of course access will be signed out, and will not be allowed access again until 500$ fee is paid.

Specific sanitation assignments are up to Students, students must attend theory class as scheduled for the duration of the course of study regardless of whether all required tests have been taken and passed.
Specific sanitation assignments are given to each student dependent on gerneral procedure.
Students must stay with their clients during services and contact instructor by phone if needed.
Students mav not refuse to perform client services or other program requirements.
1. Students must be online, uploading and properly performing services on clients or manikins or doing bookwork at course requirement times.
2. Any equipmentis required to be bought by students instructor will not provide any.
3. Students are not permitted visitors during class hours.
4. A beeper or cell phone must remain on monitor only while in class. Phone calls can only be returned on breaks determined by the instructor, outside of the building.
5. Students are not permitted to sell or share any products, crafts, or any context in the online courses.
6. Students may NOT take photographs of online course with permission linistration, teachers and ALL content being  photographed.
7. Students may not fraternize at another student's place of employment, as a client or visitor, or with Beauty manors online or on social platforms.
8. Any tuition that is not paid per contracted arrangements may be grounds for termination.
9. All enrolled students must have a phone number or a contact person with a phone number for a reference if class group projects.
10. Online Students that fall below satisfactory progress must be available to come to the school for counseling before
5:00 PM. When instructor is not servicing clients. Or appointed appointment scheduling through beauty manors in-person training at a fee provided by student to be paid to instructor.
20. Beauty Manors will NOT be responsible for cash. credit cards or valuable items or unreasonable unsatisfactory expectations of the online course.
